Clinical engineers and healthcare professionals attending EBME Expo 2025 will be among the first in the UK to see Mindray’s latest innovation, the BeneVision V Series patient monitoring solution. This advanced system builds on the success of Mindray’s BeneVision N Series patient monitors to provide industry-first innovations in ultrasound-integrated hemodynamic assessment and cable-lite patient monitoring workflow.
The V Series aims to simplify clinical workflows, enhance decision making and safeguard patient care through smart integration of multiple devices, simplified cable management, and comprehensive visibility and control of on-screen data.
Paul Bailey, General Manager of Mindray UK said: “Following a successful global launch at Euroanaesthesia in Lisbon last month, we’re excited to bring the BeneVision V Series to the UK at EBME Expo 2025. This is an exciting evolution of our monitoring range that gives clinicians an even more comprehensive view of patient health. By bringing data from multiple devices on one screen, clinical teams can get actionable insights that enhance patient care.”
Point-of-care ultrasound is transforming patient assessment and management in the ICU. The new BeneVision V Series connects with ultrasound systems, like the wireless TE Air handheld ultrasound system, to display high resolution imaging data on the patient monitor. Clinicians can visualise, analyse and document ultrasound findings in real-time and through historical trends.
The upgraded HemoSight™ tool aligns ultrasound-derived parameters with vital signs for synchronised evaluation, review and storage. This integration creates a more comprehensive hemodynamic profile for timely decision-making.
The V Series also features Mindray’s iAlarm tool, an intelligent alarm management system that fundamentally improves how alarms are generated, prioritised, and distributed to reduce the risk of alarm fatigue.
Another innovative breakthrough is the MRV PodTM. This industry-first, full-parameter, cable-lite solution has reduced cable length for high acuity monitoring by 40% to enhance data collection, improve patient mobility, and streamline cable management.
The MRV Pod can transmit vital signs data wirelessly to the BeneVision N1 transport monitor so patients can mobilise earlier and move unimpeded – a critical factor in ICU recovery. This wireless connectivity also means vital signs data collection remains uninterrupted during procedures such as CT exams, and without the need for additional monitoring equipment in specialised diagnostic areas.
The top-of-the-line monitor, VMAX ,features a 4K UHD capacitive screen in an ultra-slim design. Its 360-degree visible alarm lights ensure critical alerts can be seen from any angle, reducing the risk of missed alarms and enhancing safety. The responsive touchscreen interface allows for smooth navigation and easy customisation. Clinicians can personalize displays with simple drag-and-drop and pinch-to-zoom gestures to adjust layout and amplify waveforms.
"Feedback from customer trials have been extremely positive. The BeneVision V Series will empower clinicians to provide more personalised and focused care.” added Paul Bailey.

AXREM call for policy makers, NHS leaders and collaborators to make improvements to service delivery, promote consistency across NHS Trusts, strengthen cyber security, and support better patient outcomes. Collaboration and consistency are key.
AXREM is the UK Trade association representing the interests of suppliers of diagnostic medical imaging, radiotherapy, healthcare IT and care equipment including patient monitoring in the UK. AXREM members supply the majority of diagnostic medical imaging and radiotherapy equipment installed in UK hospitals. In doing so, our member companies and their employees work side by side with Radiologists, Radiographers, Practitioners, Oncologists and a wide range of healthcare professionals in delivering healthcare to patients using our technologies.
This manifesto recognises the need to reduce inefficiencies and protect NHS investment. Some of which can be achieved by the promotion of secure remote support to minimise downtime and reduce environmental impact as well as a standardised, low cost credentialing that is recognised across all NHS trusts. AXREMs Member Accreditation (AMA) Scheme achieves this by easing cost pressures on suppliers and the NHS.
AXREM members continually promote high quality maintenance and have outlined recommendations to ensure service quality. With this as a key focus, AXREM support the Good Maintenance Services - A Practical Guideline by COCIR 2024. https://www.cocir.org/fileadmin/Publications_2024/23085_COC_GL_Maintenance_Services_v4.pdf
Richard Coldrick, Senior Operations Manager at Elekta Limited, Convenor of the AXREM Service & Operations Special Focus and one of the authors of the document said upon its release “ I am pleased to announce that this Manifesto will further AXREM’s goal of finding solutions to problems and challenges which face manufacturers, the NHS and patients by setting best practice and ensuring high industry standards”.
Jeevan Gunaratnam, AXREM Vice Chair said “This manifesto represents a clear and unified industry voice calling for higher standards, greater consistency, and smarter investment in the service and maintenance of medical equipment—because safe, reliable healthcare infrastructure is not a luxury, it is a necessity.”
“I am particularly pleased that the manifesto supports the NHS’s strategic shift from analogue to digital, treatment to prevention, and hospital to community by ensuring that vital medical technologies are safe, secure, and always available—driving performance, reducing waiting times, and ultimately improving the health of our population.”
Sally Edgington, AXREM Chief Executive Officer said “The Service and Operations Special Focus Group stands as one of the longest-established groups within AXREM, consistently delivering valuable guidance documents and position statements that keep members well informed and ensure clarity in our external positioning on key industry issues. The launch of this manifesto marks an exciting development, broadening the industry's perspective and strengthening our collective voice. I look forward to joining members and key stakeholders later today as we formally unveil this important initiative”.
