Welch Allyn

A free educational symposium, which aims to improve levels of clinical knowledge among biomedical engineers, will be held at the Heritage Motor Centre, Warwickshire, on June 30, 2011.


The 'Completing the Picture' event, sponsored by an educational grant from Welch Allyn, is now entering its 11th year.


To celebrate a decade of 'Completing the Picture' all attendees will be entered into a prize draw to win a weekend break to any Best Western Hotel to the value of £350. 


Topics covered will include:

  • Achieving Connectivity for Vital Signs,
  • Clinical Aspects of the use of Syringe Drivers for Palliative Care,
  • Clinical Interface with Technology Innovation in Acute Care: Who is in the Driving Seat'  and...
  • Reduce Risk, Save Money and Live Happily Ever After

 

In addition, a workshop will be held which will involve 'uncovering' Ophthalmoscopy.


The prestigious Clinical Engineering Team of the Year Award winner will also be announced at the event.
