Eastwood Park

Medical Technologies Foundation Degree - the right time to apply

It's time now to beat any likely university fee increases and apply now for Eastwood Park's work-based Medical Technologies Foundation Degree, just in time for the next intake this October.

This relatively new degree has been run by Eastwood Park for the last three years, in partnership with Kingston University and in association with the Department of Health, Sector Skills Councils, SEMTA & Skills for Health, the MHRA, IHEEM, IPEM & IDSc.

The advantage of this course is that it is work-based and is spot on when it comes to fulfilling needs of employers as it was designed specifically to ensure their skill requirements were being met.  Three pathways are available - medical equipment technology, decontamination and medical gases.  Also for students, as the next level on from NVQ level 3 in decontamination and medical equipment technology it enables students to access the Medical Technologies Management BSc Honours degree in year 3.  The majority of Eastwood Park's students have continued their studies with Kingston University during this last year recognising the further opportunities this qualification opens up.

However, time is running out to get your application in for this October, so if you have been mulling over this opportunity for some time, call Eastwood Park now on 01454 262777 and apply straight away.  Further details are also on the website eastwoodpark.co.uk.
